A great place for breakfast or lunch! Photo of my usual eggs over easy, rye and scrapple perfectly cooked. Be sure to check for fresh made desserts.

I love this place!! It's so cute and cozy! Love all the witch decor. The food was amazing! It was my first time having scrapple. I had a breakfast platter and my husband had a harvest sandwich. I stole a bite of his sandwich so I can confidently say both meals were delicious. Really decent prices too. I can't recommend this place enough

If you are traveling through Howard, PA or visiting Bald Eagle State Park this is a MUST M U S T visit place. On my first visit I ordered the steak breakfast. When asked how I wanted the steak I answered with a confident, "rare." As soon as I uttered the word I heard a, "YES," from the kitchen. I believe that confirmed I had made the right choice. The food was cooked with quality ingredients and, most importantly, with lots of love and care. The steak was perfect. The eggs were masterfully cooked over easy. The butter was real... the home fries were delicious. My wife ordered grits two consecutive days. Yep. It was that good... according to her... I hate grits so I'll take her word for it. She's never liked grits from anyone but her grandmother. I will be visiting Bald Eagle SP again but not because it is a destination I want to revisit but because Kitchen Witch is worth the the hour drive and the park is a great place to burn off the calories consumed. Kurt and Donna, I hope I remembered correctly, thank you for the excellent food and great hospitality.

I kind of struggle between giving this four or five stars, for one reason only - the pricing at first made me feel a little bit of sticker shock. After thinking it through though, I think that’s less about what I got than about what I expected to get. I think with the way the menu and the pricing is laid out, it could possibly be easy to get the wrong impression of how things are going to add up. But that’s the only negative I could really come up with. The food was fantastic. I mean, it wasn’t complicated – it was sausage and eggs – but if anybody thinks you can’t mess up something like that, let me assure you, you most certainly can. The sausage was flavorful and fresh, and he eggs were perfect, the sourdough toast, was outstanding. As for the ambience – I loved it. It’s not a big place - don’t even think about bringing your party of 50 over there - but it’s quaint, and homey, a little quirky, and eclectic. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and aside from the fact that they don’t like Apple devices, I couldn’t really find anything to complain about! I spend a good bit of time in this area, and I expect this isn’t the last time I’ll stop by to see what the Kitchen Witch has stewing in her cauldron.

We found this eclectic little cafe while driving through PA via I-80. It's not too hard to get off, and getting back to I-80 is a short but very scenic drive. My husband had the ham and potato soup and Reuben. The rye bread is homemade and was very good. I had an Angus burger and fries sprinkled with Rosemary. Their desserts looked good, but we didn't have any. We would recommend this as a good alternative to fast food chains.

Generous portions and very tasty. Sausage omelette was nicely seasoned. With very friendly service! Would definitely return! And...great scrapple! Perfect ending with the cinnamon bun!
